Brad and Laura Veraska

{Ramblings…}

I think my spring cleaning attack came really late this year…

Do you have junk drawers in your house? You know the drawers I am talking about…the ones that everything under the sun gets crammed into when you are cleaning for unexpected company or you just don’t have a clue where to put something..lol. In our den we have a wall of junk drawers..lol.  It did not start out that way. At one time they were orangized. Well for a second anyway. So I got around to cleaning just 3 of them out.

Hard to believe what comes out of those little drawers. Besides all the trash..here is just some of what I found that I thought was interesting.

1. a million pens, pencils and highlighters. As I was throwing out the ones that no longer write it occurred to me that the free or cheap pens last forever while the expensive dry up to dust!

2. 11 little notepads - yet I can never find one when I desperately need to something to write on.

3. numerous remote controls and batteries covers to other remote controls that apparently control nothing we own

4. 5 thermometer covers and 6 lids…I have no idea why

and the list goes on and on..ha

I just wonder why I don’t throw that stuff away instead of tossing it on the drawer…I would say I will change my ways but I am sure in a couple of months I will be staring into the drawers again..

Sneak Peek for Chani

She’s baaaack. We had sweet Chani in recently. Wow has she grown! She is a total and complete MESS!!! LOL.

The first image is from her first visit to us…so sweet.

She told Brad… “I’m gonna rope you boy!” hahahaha.

{Happy Places}

Have you ever just run across a something or another that makes you feel all warm and happy when you look at it? Like all the beautiful magazine covers we will be seeing soon for fall? Or school supplies? I love new school and office supplies.  Well today I was checking out Martha Stewart’s blog and ran across this OTHER blog.  I can’t quit looking at it! I felt I should share my happy place of the day moment with you all…LOL
